Define the mission
Translate intended uses into requirements, constraints, and test questions.
ABOUT / TRYAN AERODYNAMICS
An Indian aerospace team developing aircraft concepts and onboard systems through practical engineering. We are early in the journey and clear about the work still ahead.
OUR GOAL / 01
Our work connects configuration, structures, embedded sensing, software, and test planning. SHENYA gives the team a real aircraft design problem; the flight computer gives us a way to observe and develop the systems around it. We evaluate promising directions, document what we learn, and identify what must be proven next.
THE JOURNEY / 02
Translate intended uses into requirements, constraints, and test questions.
Explore aircraft configuration and packaging with the SHENYA CAD model.
Bring airframe and electronics work together; aircraft-level integration remains in development.
Connect sensors, calibration, serial telemetry, and ROS 2 publishing at bench stage.
Use observed results to refine the system; transition and mission performance need aircraft testing.
Define feasibility, milestones, and validation with technical collaborators.
ABOUT US / 03
A student-led Indian team working across aircraft design, avionics, structures, and integration. These are the people currently named in our development story.
Kanishk founded Tryan Aerodynamics to bring aircraft concepts and onboard systems into one practical development programme. He leads flight-computer development, including sensor calibration, structured telemetry, and ROS 2 publishing demonstrated at bench stage.
Vaibhav works on SHENYA’s UAV design and CAD. His contribution develops the aircraft configuration as a model the team can evaluate and refine during concept development.
RECOGNITION / 04
SHENYA VTOL project. This is competition recognition for prototype work, not a certification of aircraft performance.
